BADERA KATHAKAL

My maternal home is in the small town of Vadakara, lovingly people call the place Badera and kathakal translates to stories.  The air there makes you feel its dragged you back 20 years. The place overflows with its stories. Years back, I was able to capture one such act live onto my sketchbook. The caption in the image says "Janu edathi". She used to the house help for everyone in the family.
